Who is a volunteer and how will he connect to volunteering?
Positive emotions paint our lives with bright colors, each time receiving a positive surge, we become happy. Doing good by helping those in need is volunteering. Thanks to everyone you helped someone, fills the life of a volunteer with happiness. Our organization will help you become a true volunteer and is proud of your mission.
Only candidates for members of the Public Organization may be involved in volunteer activities.
A written agreement on volunteering is concluded with the members of the NGO “WAY OF PEACE” and a “VOLUNTEER CERTIFICATE” is issued.
Agreement on the conduct of volunteer activities
Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine On Volunteering.
The agreement on the conduct of volunteer activities must be concluded:
- the provision of volunteer assistance in the areas specified in paragraphs seven and eight of part three of Article 1 of this Law, in
the procedure determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; - at the request of the volunteer or his legal representative, if the volunteer is a person aged 14 to 18 years.
- Under an agreement on volunteering, one party (volunteer) undertakes on the instructions of the other party (organization or
an institution that involves volunteers in its activities) personally provide volunteer assistance to its recipients free of charge during the
the term specified in the contract, and the specified organization or institution undertakes to provide the volunteer with opportunities for implementation
volunteering. The contract may determine the procedure for reimbursement to the volunteer of expenses related to the implementation of the contract. - The contract for the conduct of volunteer activities is concluded in writing.
- An agreement on the conduct of volunteer activities may be concluded with a person who has reached the age of 18. Children over the age of 14 can
enter into contracts with the written consent of parents (adoptive parents), adoptive parents, parents-educators, caregivers. - The agreement on the conduct of volunteer activities should contain:
- description of volunteer activities (tasks);
- the period of volunteering;
- rights and obligations of the parties;
- liability for damages;
- terms of termination of the contract.
Only organizations included in the list of the Ministry of Justice have the right to officially attract volunteers.
